Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results under its own practices. Garza County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It is kept within the site team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server may automatically receive basic technical and usage details:
- Page-view times and the length of a visit
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- The pages viewed during a session
- A referring website, when one is reported
- The device's internet protocol address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help measure aggregate traffic, such as which Garza County record pages receive visits and where sessions end. A browser can be set to reject cookies, though disabling them may change how some features work.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Garza County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to official custodians, including the combined clerk, Garza County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public-information requests, while Government Code Sections 411.081 through 411.085 and 411.135 limit dissemination of criminal-history record information. Visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or a dossier about another person, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes that appear on the site. Information submitted through a box is subject to that company's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. This policy does not govern the provider's systems. Review the provider's terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Garza County offices, Texas agencies, court resources, legal-aid organizations, or private search services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's privacy rules apply. Check those rules before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and select ads. Their systems, rather than ours, control that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:

How We Protect Your Data

Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If information from a minor is identified, it will be deleted when reasonably verified.
