Terms of Use

These conditions govern the use of Garza County Criminal History. Accessing a page, reading its material, or submitting a query through an available search tool signifies agreement to all terms below. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. Garza County Criminal History is privately operated and has no connection to a local, Texas, or federal government agency. This site and its advertising partners do not provide a service for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other decisions governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The site is a reference for locating Garza County, Texas criminal-record resources. It is neither a private investigation service nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It does not store official records, conduct official background checks, retrieve documents, or submit filings for a visitor.

Its content identifies the custodians of Garza County criminal records, including the combined clerk, Garza County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Public access remains subject to the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, and the criminal-history dissemination limits in Government Code Sections 411.081 through 411.085 and 411.135. Links to private tools may also appear for general research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Texas, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, or stalk a person with information found here
  • Use site content for a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision
  • Attempt to enter systems or data without authorization
  • Deploy a scraper, bot, or other automated collection tool against the pages
  • Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information from this site or a linked tool to intimidate, threaten, stalk, harass, or discriminate against another person. Such conduct may also violate the law. Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data is published for safety awareness, not vigilantism or discriminatory blacklisting. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 controls registry publication and protects specified information, and unlawful conduct directed at a registrant remains subject to applicable civil and criminal law.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Garza County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Neither the site nor its advertising partners produce consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks intended to assess a person's eligibility. Content from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Set insurance terms or evaluate credit
  • Choose whether to hire or dismiss a person
  • Evaluate a rental or housing application
  • Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
  • Make any other decision regulated by the FCRA

A legally authorized check for a regulated purpose must be obtained from the appropriate official channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Garza County charge, warrant, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to an individual case. A licensed Texas attorney can provide advice about a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." No promise is made that:

  • Partner search results will be complete, current, or correctly matched
  • Every page will be free from bugs, mistakes, or security weaknesses
  • The information will always be accurate, current, and complete
  • The website will remain available without interruption

Criminal records can change when a charge is filed or dismissed, a court enters a new disposition, or a record is restricted through expunction or nondisclosure. Delays and gaps can occur. Site content is never an official statement of a court, sheriff, clerk, or Texas agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may direct visitors to Garza County offices, Texas agencies, court resources, legal-aid groups, or private search services. Those destinations are outside our control. We are not responsible for an external site's content, availability, prices, terms, or data handling.

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or legal proceedings caused by your use of the site or breach of these terms, including related costs and reasonable legal fees.
